[REVIEW] 태블릿 같은 음성인식 스피커 "구글 네스트 허브 2세대" 후기 / Second Generation of Google Nest

안녕 파카씨다. 이번에 소개할 제품은 구글에서 출시한 액정이 달린 태블릿 같은 음성인식 스피커! '구글 네스트 허브 2세대'이다.

Hi, it's Parka. The product to introduce this time is a voice recognition speaker like a tablet with a liquid crystal released by Google. It is the second generation of Google Nest Hub.

얼마 전까지만 해도 음성인식 스피커가 거의 IT의 대세라 할 정도로 엄청 유행을 하다가 최근에는 좀 시들해진 느낌이 드는데, 새로운 형태의 음성인식 스피커로 요새는 액정 달린 스피커들이 출시되고 있다.

Not long ago, voice recognition speakers were so popular that they were almost the trend of IT, but recently they seem to have withered a little, but these days, liquid crystal speakers are being released with a new type of voice recognition speaker.

샤오미가 출시한 제품도 있기는 한데, 아무래도 음성인식 스피커는 언어 인식 능력이 중요하다보니 아직 샤오미 제품은 좀 시기상조인 것 같고, 확실히 인공지능 분야 최강자는 지금으로서는 구글인 것 같다.

Some products have been released by Xiaomi, but since speech recognition ability is important for voice recognition speakers, Xiaomi's products seem to be a bit premature, and Google seems to be the strongest in the field of artificial intelligence for now.

예전에 구글이 출시하던 조약돌 모양의 음성인식 스피커도 가지고 있는데, 액정 달린 제품은 어떨까 싶어서 한번 구매를 해봤다.

It also has a pebble-shaped voice recognition speaker released by Google in the past, and I bought it because I thought it would be a liquid crystal product.

나는 큐텐에서 쿠폰까지 써서 구매를 했고, 쿠폰 가격으로 약 11만원. 네이버에서도 비슷한 가격에 판매하고 있는데 내가 구매한 초크 색상은 보통 추가금을 내야 구매할 수 있었다.

I even used a coupon from Q10 and bought it, and the coupon price is about 110,000 won. Naver also sells it at a similar price, but the choke color I purchased was usually purchased only at an additional fee.

얼핏 봐서는 그냥 태블릿을 거치대에 거치한 느낌이 든다.

상자를 열면 이렇게 본체가 들어있다.

뭐 특별한 건 없고 ... 앞에 액정 부분은 흰색이고, 뒤에 스피커 부분 색상에 따라 초크, 그레이, 핑크 등으로 색상이 나누어진다.

나는 개인적으로 흰색 액정이랑은 초크 색상이 제일 잘 어울리는 것 같아서 초크 색상으로 선택. 초크 색상은 약간 연한 그레이라고 보면 된다.

There's nothing special... The liquid crystal part in the front is white, and the color is divided into choke, gray, pink, etc. according to the color of the speaker part in the back.

Personally, I think the white liquid crystal goes well with the choke color, so I choose the choke color. The choke color can be seen as a light gray.

안에는 뭐 특별한 건 없고, 설명서랑 전원 케이블이 들어있다. 참고로 이 녀석은 안에 배터리가 내장되어 있는 제품은 아니기 때문에 무선으로 사용하지는 못한다.

There is nothing special inside, but there are instructions and power cables. For reference, this is not a product with a built-in battery, so it cannot be used wirelessly.

개인적으로 구글이 출시하는 음성인식 스피커는 이런 패브릭 스타일이 꽤 괜찮은 것 같다.

Personally, Google's voice recognition speaker seems to have a pretty good fabric style.

전원을 연결하면 바로 설정하는 화면이 나오는데, 구글홈 앱을 가지고 있다면 어렵지 않게 설정이 가능하다.

When you connect the power, you will see a screen that sets it right away, and if you have the Google Home app, you can set it up without difficulty.

시계 디자인도 여러 가지로 설정할 수 있는데, 나는 이 심플한 시계 모양이 괜찮은 것 같아서 이거로 선택.

You can set the design of the watch in various ways, but I think this simple watch shape is okay, so I choose this.

뭐 사실 ... 음성인식 스피커로 할 수 있는 게 그렇게 많지는 않다. 기껏해야 타이머 설정, 알람, 뉴스, 날씨 정도인데 좀 더 범용성이 늘어났으면 하는 바람이 있다.

Well, actually... There are not so many things that can be done with voice recognition speakers. At best, it is just timer settings, alarms, news, and weather, but I hope it will increase its versatility.

지금도 집에 있는 IOT 기기들이랑 연동되는 서비스는 되는데, 이게 또 제품마다 되는 게 있고 안 되는 게 있고 해서 통일성 있게 이거 하나로 모든 집의 기기들을 통제하지는 못한다는 불편이 있다.

개인적으로 구글 네스트 허브를 사용하면서 가장 편했던 기능 중에 하나는 서라운드 음향 기능. 집에 구글 스피커를 여러 개 가지고 있다면, 같은 와이파이에 연결되어 있는 모든 구글 스피커들에서 동시에 소리가 나게 할 수 있다. 그래서 집 군데 군데에 스피커를 두고 음악 재생을 하면 사방에서 들려오는 서라운드 음향을 즐길 수 있다. 개인적으로 이 기능 때문에 하나 더 살까 고민중 ...

Personally, one of the most comfortable features of using Google Nest Hub is the surround sound function. If you have multiple Google speakers at home, all Google speakers connected to the same Wi-Fi can make sounds at the same time. So, if you put speakers in various places at home and play music, you can enjoy the surround sound from all sides. Personally, I'm thinking about buying another one because of this function.

뭐 대단한 전자제품은 아니지만 나에게 주는 선물로 꽤 재밌는 장난감 하나 얻은 셈 친다.

It's not a great electronic product, but I got a pretty fun toy as a gift to myself.
